Within moments of airing “Long Distance” for the first time back in June, our Twitter, Facebook and YouTube accounts were flooded with an overwhelming response. Fans had fallen in love with the story: Girl and guy say goodbye. But even long distance can’t keep them apart.
But even louder than that response was a demand to know what song was being used as the score. No amount of googling would help them find it online. That’s because, back in June 2011, all there was of “Need You” was a sixty-second clip written for our commercial by a talented musician named Jacob Steele.
After about the hundredth post we asked Jacob to go back into the studio and give the people what they asked for.
